It’s a historic episode of the podcast. Carlin and Aaron take on the task of discussing their first Daniel Craig movie, Quantum of Solace. But tensions mount and “discussing” is probably not the correct term to use. Listen to the end as this episode will have repercussions on the future of this podcast.
One month after Carlin and Aaron’s break up, Aaron’s solo episode 0013 is live and it’s way better than the Bond movie he covers, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Aaron harkens back to episode 001 and starts his construction podcast but runs into some trouble finding some dedicated Bond fans. This is an experiment worth listening to.
It’s been a rough couple months for the show. At the end of Episode 0012, the podcasting trio of Aaron Nix, Alabama Dog and Carlin Trammel split and each did their own version of the show for 0013. And maybe that worked great or maybe it was horrible. Either way, the feud has ended with this episode and the team is reunited by their love of trying to one up each other in James Bond trivia. And hey, listening to two guys play a board game makes for good podcastin’!
The best James Bond 007 podcast returns with a new episode. After some tension and oddities of the past few months, Aaron Nix and Carlin Trammel return to form and discuss a Bond movie together. This time, it’s the second film in the series, From Russia with Love. Prepare to be astounded with the insights from these two James Bond experts. Also, what’s Alabama Dog up to these days? Find out!
Carlin Trammel, Aaron Nix and Alabama Dog return for another episode of the most expertly hosted, James Bond-focused podcast. We finally talk about that movie we haven’t been talking about, Tomorrow Never Dies. Pierce Brosnan’s second entry in the franchise finds him taking on the grandfather of Twitter, cable news. Also, the crew make more progress on their exciting plans for their book. PLUS, since this was recorded before the recent news, we say NOTHING about Spectre!!!
2015 is off to a rough start around the James Pod headquarters. Kevin Hart (our janitor, not the comedian) left the company, Carlin gets the computer file with all his writing for our book deleted, and we continue to get less than stellar iTunes reviews. But hey! We’re talking about Moonraker this month so it can’t be all bad, right?
No, this is not a rerun. Carlin Trammel and Aaron Nix are covering Casino Royale on this episode. Unlike last time, they are not covering one of the “noncanonical” Bond films, but rather Daniel Craig’s debut from 2006. Along with that, the James Bond experts discuss who should takeover the lead role from Craig once he decides to leave. And one of the hosts is having some trouble with another of the hosts. All that plus the Poddies!
